Ahh Lavender, the scent of our Grandmas house. This ancient herb has been used in medicine dating back to cleopatra’s days. Stemming from the mint family, lavender is not only recognised for its beautiful purple colour but for its health benefits as an essential oil. At Dr Teal’s we love using lavender in our products.
Lavender is probably best known for its sleep-inducing properties. With a calming scent, the oil has been said to improve sleep problems such as insomnia or broken sleep. We recommend using lavender infused products just before bed to get the most out of the essential oil.
